Micro-chipping is one great way to recover your dog, If your dog gets picked up by your local ASPCA they'll be able to read that chip and give you a call.  Did you know that when you adopt a dog from an animal shelter, micro-chipping is usually included in the cost of adoption? Just another great reason to consider rescuing lost and abandoned dogs to give them a new home.
